All donations will be used to support the school and our students. We work with low-income students in disadvantaged communities. Our goal as a school is to meet their educational and extracurricular needs. As filed in our articles of incorporation, we are organized and operated for charitable purposes.
Local Norwalk schools suffer from a high drop out rate (22%) and few alternative schools. According to the Census, only 24.3% of 18 to 24 year olds hold a HS Diploma. The Norwalk unemployment rate (12.3%) is significantly higher than the national rate (7.9%, Bureau of Labor Statistics).The Norwalk Strategic Plan reports a high crime rate (8.88 per 1000 population), with fewer expenditures going into police, public safety,
pre-delinquent prevention, and recidivism reduction.
